This is to alert undergraduates interested in finishing their degree programs at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) that the university inter-university application form for the 2021/2022 academic session is now available.
The UNN Inter-University Transfer application is available online.
Guidelines and Eligibility for UNN Inter-University Transfer
Prior to admission to the university from which they wish to transfer, transfer students must meet the University of Nigeria and Departmental entrance criteria.
To be considered for transfer, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.95 on a 5.00 scale and have not spent more than two (2) academic sessions at their previous university.
In any given year, the number of students allowed admission through transfer must not exceed 4% of the departmental admission limit.
The student’s transcript should be attached to the application. Officials from the University of Nigeria will be dispatched to the university from which transfer is sought for transcript verification or online verification, as the case may be.
If irregularities in the papers given by the student(s) are identified at any point, the student(s) will be removed from the University.
Any University officer found to be conspiring with or evading the transfer procedure will face disciplinary action.
A transfer student must have a JAMB score that is higher than the minimum score of UNN students accepted to his department in the same year.
He must enroll in the same subject that he took at university.
For all University programs, transfer students shall not be admitted beyond the second (2nd) year.
A transfer student must be enrolled at the university where he wishes to transfer.
All applications for inter-university transfer for the academic year 2021-2022 must be received by June 17, 2022.
All suggestions for admission via transfer from Faculty must be forwarded to the Admissions Office, which will compile them and send them to the Senate Entrance Board for consideration.
Application for UNN Inter-University Transfer
To produce and download a unique Payment Invoice for Application Processing Fee, go to the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng) and log in using your telephone number. Pay the application cost of N195,000.00 (ninety-five thousand naira) at any Commercial Bank using the Remita payment platform. You must create a payment invoice with a Remita number; the printout of the invoice will allow you to make your payment at the bank.
Return to the University of Nigeria website or portal (www.unn.edu.ng or unnportal.unn.edu.ng) and log in using your Phone and Invoice Numbers, then fill out the Inter-University Transfer Form online.
